Existing chemicals
HPV-LPV Chemicals Information System provides you with information on the HPVCs (High Production Volume Chemicals) and the LPVCs
(Low Production Volume Chemicals), where data have been reported by Industry.
The content has been extracted from the IUCLID (International Uniform Chemical Information Data Base).
HPVCs Part: Please select a range of CAS# or EINECS# by scrolling the above menus where are listed the 2747
current HPVCs. Each range (except the last one which contains the remaining) contains a sorted list of 100 CAS
or EINECS numbers.
IRIS (EPA)
IRIS is a database of human health effects that may result from exposure to various substances found
in the environment. IRIS was initially developed for EPA staff in response to a growing demand for
consistent information on chemical substances for use in risk assessments, decision-making and
regulatory activities. The information in IRIS is intended for those without extensive training in toxicology,
but with some knowledge of health sciences.
PhysProp
This on-line interactive demo retrieves basic data from PhysProp database of 25,000 individual compounds.
It does not provide full reference citations or structure depictions. It does not have sub-structure searching
capabilities.
ATDSR
The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) produces "toxicological profiles" for
hazardous substances found at National Priorities List (NPL) sites. These hazardous substances are ranked based
on frequency of occurrence at NPL sites, toxicity, and potential for human exposure. Toxicological profiles
are developed from a priority list of 275 substances. ATSDR also prepares toxicological profiles for the
Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of Energy (DOE) on substances related to federal sites.

IPCS INCHEM
Means of rapid access to internationally peer-reviewed information on chemicals commonly used throughout
the world, which may also occur as contaminants in the environment and food. It consolidates information from
a number of intergovernmental organizations whose goal it is to assist in the sound management of chemicals.
